Braised Pork - Heng Heng Curry Cafe at Causeway Point

After trying out the Chicken Wings at Heng Heng Curry Cafe at Causeway Point, I tuck into the Braised Pork Rice Set. It comes with Braised Pork served in an Aluminium bowl, with rice and half a braised boiled egg and soup. The pork is first marinated with herbs, spices and soy sauce, then braised and stewed for an hour, then served in smaller strips. I like it that the pork strips are stewed till just sweet and tender with a melt in your mouth feel, not overdone. The chef drizzled the sauce  marinate over the strips to give it a glistening glow.
