This is my first visit to Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café on the invite by Ms Milada Bauer from Stuttgart to attend A Blackforest Night on Saturday 26 Oct 2013 at 7pm.
As I stepped into Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café I am indeed enthralled by the decor at the cafe.
Near the entrance on the left as you enter, the wall is flanked with a photo showcasing the record made by the Chefs at Stuttgart Blackforest Boutique S-Café on the creation of Singapore's Biggest Blackforest Cake.
At the right of the entrance is a cake and pastry dessert chilled shelf displaying the specialty cakes and pastry the Café serves.
On the left of the entrance as you enter, a water wheel feature and a pond with fishes swimming in it gives the place a rustic country-like feel.
Over at the walls behind the water wheel are walls lined with world famous Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks.
The cafe has a selection of merchandise on sale, ranging from cuckoo clocks, souvenirs, art, teddy bears, coffee table books, snacks, jams, pasta, coffee, honey, pickles, gherkins, chocolate, juices, liqueurs, wine, lager beer to organic fresh produce.
Mention Stuttgart to car lovers, and straightway they will shout out two world renown brands : Porsche, Mercedes Benz. Three life size Tin soldiers flanked next to these two famous brands are window-displayed at the sides on the cafe walls facing the main road junction.
The dining area is spacious, decorated with several trees to create a Blackforest-like ambience. The seating capacity is about 80 pax (level 1).
