The Beacon celebrates its Second Anniversary this year by having a party on 16 April 2015 at its flagship outlet at Marina Square, 6 Raffles Boulevard. I was invited by Terry Goh, Founder & General Manager, The Beacon to cover the event for the night.
The Founder & Organiser- Mr Terry Goh, The Beacon
Terry Goh is the Founder & General Manager of The Beacon. He started The Beacon two years ago at Marina Square.
Terry Goh is a veteran in the F&B industry and used to operate a lot of pubs, clubs & bars in the night scene here in Singapore. Besides The Beacon, Terry Goh also co-founded Wave House Sentosa together with Heinz Peter & XT Tan.
Terry Goh an entrepreneur & a veteran in the F&B industry especially in the pubs, clubs & bar scene, is also an active surfer & avid wakeboarder. Terry has been very active in the F&B industry, and has operated about 13 clubs, pubs & bars for more than 20 years, having started during his schooldays as a part-timer, & eventually grew in his career (after his graduation) to operate these F&B establishments full-time. Terry used to work in Attica as Manager, Rooftop Bar as Manager, Embargo at Central, Sugar at Mohd Sultan & Boom Boom Room. On his own, Terry Goh started the Beacons - a Happy Hour Bar with a live band, serving finger food, Bar Snacks, Beers, Wine, Cocktails by Mixologist.
The Positioning
The Beacon is a Happy Hour Bar with live band performances The Beacon kitchen serves up a decent spread of Finger Food & Bar Snacks which includes: Starters & Salad, Pizza, Pasta, Main Course, Captain's Combo, Desserts, paired with The Beacon's choice of Draft Beer, House Pours, wine, Martinis, Cocktails served by experienced Mixologists.

Mr Terry Goh, Founder & General Manager at The Beacon, had Supersonic crooning out favorites such as Price Tag on stage.

The guests at the party enjoyed themselves over the great selection of food on The Beacon Menu : Starters & Salads, Pasta, Pizza, Main Course, Desserts, Captain's Combo.
Friends & regular patrons mingled, wine & dine under the cosy candle-light, amidst powerful rendition of popular music from band Supersonic.

On Mondays from 5pm to 9pm, The Beacon offers a 1 for 1 on all pizzas with purchase of alcohol beverage
On Tuesdays from 5pm to 9pm, The Beacon offers S$20++ on all Martinis.
On Wednesdays all night long, The Beacon offers a 1 for 1 on all House Pours & Beers.
On Thursdays from 5pm to 9pm, The Beacon offers a Complimentary Canape with purchase of any alcohol beverage.
On Fridays from 5pm to 9pm, The Beacon offers a S$5 for Platter of 5 Oysters.
