Cafe Salivation at 176 Race Course Rd - Wild Rice with Sauteed grilled vegetables

This is the Signature Wild Rice with Sauteed vegetables served here at Cafe Salivation located at 176 Race Course Road.

Core IngredientsWild rice, leek, Australian asparagus, red & yellow capsicum, eggplant slices in special stock.

How it is prepared - The wild rice is parboiled up to 90% well done till it is soft & chewy,  it is then seasoned with salt & pepper.

The mixed vegetables : asparagus, leek, slices of red & yellow capsicum, mushrooms are grilled with spices, then topped over the wild rice.
Chef uses brinjal sliced in cross-section slices & grilled to give nice tender soft bite to it. The brinjal are also topped over the wild rice.

The vegetables are then drizzled with homemade special sauce made using sesame, vegetable broth, ginger, salt & pepper to give a savory, lightly salty flavor. This tinge of lightly salty flavor goes well with the cinnamon flavor wild rice. A very flavorful homely umami flavor you'd loved to savour. Portion size just about right for ladies.
