If you believe in your dreams, work towards it, one day you shall be like Chef Haikal who at a very young age of 15, already knew he wanted to be a professional chef. 

He enrolled in SHATEC at age 17 (after graduating from Secondary School)  in a two year course full-time & graduated by age 19 just in time to be called into National Service. 

Right after National Service, to pursue his chef's career, Chef Haikal worked in a few F&B establishments such as Tapas Bar, Amara Hotel, Otto Italian Restaurant, Tiffin Club, Salt Tapas, Salt Grill, before deciding to start his Gourmet Burger business on his own. 

His past experiences working in the various restaurants has given him a lot of ideas, recipes, techniques, knowledge about food ingredients, which he brings with him into his Gourmet Burger business. 

His Customers 

The beaming smiles & lips smacking of total satisfaction as shown on his customers' faces are a true testimony of how Chef Haikal's Gourmet burgers have touched the lives of his customers.

The coffeeshop at Blk 537 Bedok North Street 3 is so spacious Chef Haikal can organise a Gourmet Burger Eating Tournament for 150 pax here any time. 

Though the kitchen at Blk 537 Bedok North Street 3 is a far cry from the established kitchen in the various restaurants Chef Haikal is so used to, it comes equipped with modern day gadgets that makes his work here at Blink Burger more productive. 

The kitchen is his performance stage where he dresses the Gourmet beef patties & chicken thigh meats in colorful marinates, dressings, coleslaws, sauces. 

The kitchen comes complete with Stove, Grills, Deep Fryers, Mixers, Blenders, and is the heart centre of the Gourmet Burger joint. 

The Lunch & Dinner crowd congregate at weekends where you see Chef Haikal & his cooks flipping about 200 to 300 burgers till they are sold out for the evening.
