Thai Fish Cakes ( Tod Man Pla ทอดมันปลา) - BaliThai at Causeway Point Level 5

Thai Fish Cakes ( Tod Man Pla ทอดมันปลา) is made with ingredients : clown knife fish paste, egg whites, red curry paste, diced long beans, fresh kaffer lime leaves, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, sweet basil, goat pepper, flour. Check out the video on how to make the Thai Fish Cakes ( Tod Man Pla ทอดมันปลา)

Thai Fish Cakes ( Tod Man Pla ทอดมันปลา)served at BaliThai is made from fresh ingredients, the fish paste was kneaded well to give the fish cake a nice springy bite.

The spices and herbs use gives a limely yet lightly spicy flavor. I could bite into bits of the long bean and lime leaf, and when I dipped it into the Thai Chili sauce and the Belachan Chili sauce gives a lip-smacking satisfaction and keeps me beaming throughout dinner.

Olive Rice - BaliThai at Causeway Point

The Olive Rice I ordered at BaliThai comes paired with fried chicken fillet, cashew nuts, shallots and young ginger  salad. The chef uses lots of fresh garlic, shallot, ginger, dark olives to give the Olive rice a sweet appertising, aromatic and  flavorful taste. The chicken fillet is fried just nicely, with the skin crispy on the outside, yet the meat tender on the inside. The cashew nuts and young ginger cubes lend a sweet twist to the dish.

Seafood Tang Hoon - BaliThai at Causeway Point

Bob's order of Seafood Tang Hoon with Oyster sauce was a great choice - the Oyster sauce was very appetising, the chef uses fresh, juicy prawns and calamari, lots of mushrooms and vegetables that makes a perfect match for the Tang Hoon.
