It's the eve of Christmas 24 Dec 2011, and nearing to the close of the year 2011, a time for family togetherness, so Bob & I went for dinner with my MIL at Changi Simei CC's Coffee Shop Fei Siong肥雄 to have dinner at the Zhi Char Stall called Dynasty ( 皇朝 Huang Chao in HanYuPingYin).
I ordered the Assam Fish whole for S$24

Then the Gor Lok Yoke 咕咾肉 - which is dice pork slices coated with flour & deep fried and stir fry with capsicum, onion, cucumber in sweet tangy sauce, for S$8.
I must applaud the Chefs here at Dynasty for having master the art of making superb tasting Gor Lok Yoke. I'd say you must try this dish for I have never tasted Gor Lok Yoke anywhere else that can beat Dynasty.
The meat is marinated with great sauce, rolled in good quality flour, and tenderised so it is easy to chew, plus the fried pork slices are stir fry in a sweet tangy sauce that is just right , not too overly sweet nor too sour. And the Chefs are not ashamed to generous sprinkle lots of onion & capsicum & cucumber.
