The Ambience
S(hebrews) Cafe houses a modest kitchen complete with modern kitchen appliances where Chef Bani prepares her Signature dishes to the delight of many of her fans. This is also the work station of Barista Siti (Chef Bani's niece) who does a mean cup of Latte and a great cuppa hot chocolate.
Here's a weekly view of the line-up of Specials at S(he)brews Cafe.
The Decor - Owner Linda Isaac hails from a technical background, and is an Engineer by training. She does a lot of architectural related work. S(he)brews Cafe space here is the handiwork of Linda Isaac and her team, most of which are furnished by themselves.
S(he)brews Cafe design and decor is pretty much al fresco and rustic, countryside, minimalist style. The set up is geared towards being an ecological cafe, with unique aesthetic rustic touches as can be seen from the various furniture used here. There are different table sizes and shape to cater to different diners group.
The cafe has high ceiling that offers a panoramic view of the skyline through a glass ceiling. Since the cafe faces North East direction with a strong natural wind drift, the place is very airy with a constant flow of air around the dining area, there is essentially no necessity for air conditioning.
The perimeter of S(he)brews Cafe is lined with fencing made of bamboo sticks that is extendable and acts like a movable gate.
S(he)brews Cafe is located at : 365 Commonwealth Avenue, inside Queenstown Community Centre
