Mong Hing Restaurant has its humble beginnings when elderly patriarch Mr Koh Khiang Siah (now Age 85) started dishing out Teochew styled Cuisine from a hawker stall at Ellenborough Market in 1955. He then shifted his food business to Outram Road in 1996, and finally settled to the current Mong Hing Restaurant at Keypoint in 2003.
The elderly Mr Koh has since retired and the business is currently helmed by his 3 sons : eldest son Koh Chin Huat, second son Koh Chin Chye, and fourth son Koh Chin Seng, his third son not involved in the business.
The 3 brothers strive to preserve the integrity of the original restaurant by upholding its policy of using the freshest ingredients at affordable prices : to thank its loyal patrons for their support, as well as to attract new generation diners who are ready to sniff out good traditional Teochew style Cuisine.
Restaurant Owners : Koh Chin Huat & Koh Chin Chye
