Chicken Winglets - Mayim at North Point

Bob & I visited Mayim at North Point for dinner.
We ordered the third dish - Chicken Winglets, that came marinated with spices - they taste absolutely  great with the meat tender & juicy !

We have strong reasons to believe the owners of Mayim must be Bible Believing Christians based on the  fact they named their restaurant on 13th letter of the Hebrew Alphabet.

I particularly liked their decor especially this wall fixture and the Chinese Calligraphy Carvings on it. Very appropriate for a restaurant setting, and gives the restaurant a very homely feel.

Here the contact details & opening hours if you wish to try our their Cuisine.

Chicken Noodles - Mayim at North Point

It was slightly drizzling so Bob & I decided to take our dinner at the mall. We went to North Point and came to this new eatery which we have never tried before : Mayim.

Being first time here, we studied the menu very thoroughly and decided on their Fu Gui Ji Mian (Chicken noodle), Xia Jiao Tang (Prawn Dumpling Soup), Chicken Winglets.

I must say I am pretty impressed by the food prepared by the Chefs here at Mayim. The Chicken Noodle tastes absolutely fantastic, the noodles does not come with the megung taste often associated with yellow noodles. The sauce they concocted to soaked the noodles tastes delicious, not too salty, and leeks of a blend of oyster sauce and some special ingredient, but little or no MSG. The steamed chicken is tenderly cooked to the right consistency, and is soft to the bite.

I half suspect either the Owner or the Chef at Mayim must be a perfectionist, for they use really great ingredients for the food.

The Prawn Dumplings tastes fresh to the bite, each dumpling oozes out juicy stock, not a race of MSG, to my heart's delight.
