Last evening Bob & I had a quick dinner at Hong Kong Street Zhen Ji Coffee Shop for some Zhi Cha Fare.
Hong Kong Street Zhen Ji operates from 2 coffeeshops: one at Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 & the other at Alexandra Village - Blk 125 Bukit Merah Lane 1.
Their Specialty dishes : Prawn Paste Chicken, Marmite Ginger Chicken, Steam Song Fish Head in Black Bean sauce, Dry Kway Teow Fish Slice, Oats Prawn, Fish Soup, Yam Basket.
I ordered the Bittergourd stir fry Pork ribs, and the fish soup. The stock for the fish soup tastes sweet and has a tinge of wine, I believe the chef does use a dash of chinese rice wine or either that XO to give it that extra special Ummp !
