Bob & I had dinner last night at Tiong Bahru Market Food Centre. I tried the Galamang Thai-Viet Food Stall's Basil Leaf Chicken with Egg & rice for a mere S$4.00
This 3 week old stall is run by Malaysian Felix Hew & Keng, his beautiful native Thai wife who is our lovely chef for the day. I can tell Keng genuinely LOVES cooking and the effort she takes in dishing our each order painstakingly, every time a new order comes about, to make sure the food is always served fresh !
One thing I notice was there was an incessant order of Thai Spring rolls : made of egg, carrot slices, raw tau gay, cucumber slices, drizzled with crushed peanut bits & Thai sweet Chilli for S$3.50
Another favourite dish ordered by the patrons was the Thai Beef noodles (above) & the Padh Thai.(below)
The Thai Green Curry looks just as nice, very lemak.
