Mad Jack Cafe was started by Malaysian Jack Chin (Singapore PR) - the only one active in the business with two other partners. Jack & his wife Siew Khuan also Malaysian, studied & met in New Zealand, and travelled extensively in Australia where they indulge in a lot of seafood.
Jack & Siew Khuan loved the freshness of seafood they had tasted in Australia, and had this dream of bringing it back to Singapore. Jack started his business with Pancake King, and later grew his business to include Western Cuisine with Australian influence.
Currently Mad Jack Cafe boasts of 6 outlets, with 3 run by franchisees. There is one central catering kitchen that takes care of catering business.
One thing Mad Jack's central kitchen can boast of is its allegiance to freshness & quality -
a. its soups are fresh from raw ingredients made fresh daily, without MSG
b. its sauces are made in house
