November 2012: A new year brings hope, joy
and delectable prosperity offerings! Plaza Brasserie is pleased to present the
Prosperity Buffet Feast from 28 January to 24 February 2013 and the Prosperity
Buffet Feast Reunion Dinner on 9 February 2013 to satisfy all cravings.
To usher in the Year of the Snake, we will be
tossing to Chef Jackson’s new creation of the Fruity Yu Sheng consisting of fresh tropical fruits like Mandarin Oranges, Peaches, Rose
Apples, Rock Melon, Dried Persimmons, Green Mango and Papaya. This new
creation symbolises an abundance of wealth and a well-rounded life enhanced
with Chef’s Special Fruit Flavoured Sauce.
Traditional Yu Sheng will also be available.
Savour in our Eight Treasure Boneless Duck, braised Long Cabbage with Dried
Scallops, Chili Crab, Poached “Live” Prawns with Chinese Wine, Beef with Spicy
Sauce, Braised Pork Knuckle with Dried Oyster and Black Moss, Crispy Roasted
BBQ Pork, Roast Duck and Soy Chicken, Oatmeal Prawns or Butter Prawns, Eight
Treasure Sticky Rice, Fish Maw Soup with Shredded Abalone or Fish Maw Soup with
Crab Meat and Sea Cucumber, Fried Hong Kong Noodles, Golden Fried Rice with
Crabmeat and Spring Onions, Stir Fried Asparagus with Crabmeat in “XO” Sauce,
Diced Chicken with Leek, Mushroom and Sweet Peas, Braised Sea Cucumber with
Roasted Pork and Stir Fried King Prawns with Spicy Prawns.
At Chef’s live station, guests can look
forward the Mini Peng Chai featuring special ingredients such as Fish Maw, Prawns, Sea Cucumber, Sliced
Abalone, Roast Duck, Chicken, Pork Cabbage and Black Moss. Relish in the
freshly steamed Red Garoupa Fish in
Superior Stock available for
dinner.
Take delight in our Chinese New Year goodies
such as Pineapple Tartlets, Love Letters,
Lotus and Red Date Candies, Almond Cookies, Lotus Seed Candies, Walnut Cookies,
Sesame Glutinous Rice Balls in Red Bean Soup, Durian Nian Gao with Bak Kua,
Traditional Egg Tartlets and Lapis Cake.
In addition, a Chinese New Year banquet dinner can also be celebrated at the ballroom on 9 February
2013. Guests can look forward to a lion dance performance, a Tea Appreciation
performance by the Si Chuan Dou Hua tea master and the God of Fortune who will
be making a guest appearance to celebrate the Lunar New Year with the guests.
