It turn out to be a great choice. The Chicken Bento Set costs only S$4.90, and the Chawanmushi is at only S$1.00 top up.

Korean Bibimbap at Kopitiam at Yusof Ishak House, NUS

After fetching me from work last Friday Bob & I decided to have dinner at Kopitiam Food Court at  Yusof Ishak House at NUS.

I had the Korean Stall's Bibimbap : a beautiful layout of Tau Gay, Cucumber Strips, Carrot Strips, Seaweed Strip, Chicken bits, with a fried egg sunny side up carefully laid out in the centre piece, drizzled with the special Bibimbap sauce.

NUS Science Canteen's "Salad Bar" Chef cooks a commendable Chicken Chop for only S$3.00, served with 3 sides, choice of : poached carrots & long beans, mashed potatoes, baked beans, french fries, coleslaw, hash brown, butter corn. 

You can also add soup of the day : beef with onions, pumpkin, minestrone, water crest, etc for S$1.20 or S$1.00.

I started my love affair with the NUS Science Canteen Western Stall called :"SALAD BAR" just a couple of weeks ago. I especially like it's chicken chop with mash potato,sweet corn, with it's soup of the day : pumpkin soup or beef onion soup.

All this for S$3 for the chicken chop & S$1 for the soup.
