I spent a lazy Saturday afternoon on 4 Feb 2012 doing some really serious filming.
My Maternal Grand Aunt, the much younger sister of my maternal Grandma though a sprightly old age of 83, lives alone in a three room HDB at Serangoon with her pet tortoise.
She's a really talented lady, she sews, cooks a mean menu, has great housekeeping skills. Her 3 room flat is always kept in spanky clean condition as she has this obssession with cleanliness.
She never eat out as she strongly believes that the hawker cooks do not clean their vegetables at all thoroughly to rid the vegetables of soil & pesticides, so she cooks her food daily.
This week Sat she invited me to her house to film her cooking the Lou Arh braised duck.
I have divided the film into short snapshots for easy viewing.
Food Journal to showcase restaurant, cafe, bakery with Signature dishes, be it Italian, Mexican, Taiwanese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Australian, Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai, Javanese, Irish, Dutch, German, American, Canadian, British, Vietnamese Cuisine. To all Foodies who love my blog, hope the tantalising shots of Real Chefs with Real Food will leave a lingering taste & smell of satisfaction, contentment and taste-buds well-oiled.
