It was quite a while since we last visited Happy Kampong after they shifted from Jalan Malu Malu to Tagore Avenue. SO 14 April 2012 last Sat, Bob & I invited Grouch Two, Stanley & Dad over to Happy Kampong for a feast - a treat from yours truly, but Bob paid on my behalf.
It appears the Chefs in the old premises could have been replaced by much younger Chefs, who look like they are from Malaysia.
Roast Chicken
We did not order the House Specialty - Nonya Fish Head, and instead we ordered half a roast chicken. But we find the roast chicken at Chye Lai more tasty & juicy.
Claypot Tou Fu
The Claypot Tou Fu gravy was great to stir into the rice, however the kitchen seems to be running short of Tou Fu, all of us found very little Tou Fu in this dish.

Stir Fry Garlic Kang Kong
The Garlic Kang Kong tasted alright, good thing I requested for less salt & oil when I placed the order, in view that Dad has High BP.
Stir Fry Fish Head with Bittergourd
The Stir Fry Fish Head with Bittergourd is slightly spicy as the Chef added in a dash of chilli paste. Unknowingly, I stirred the gravy into my rice and nearly choked on the spicy gravy, so much so I gulped down Bob's glass of Teh - O - Peng.
