Part 3 - Lee Kui (Ah Hoi) Teochew Restaurant at Mosque Street


The steamed pomfret is commonly found at dinner table of Teochew families during festive celebrations & birthday celebrations. 

The Teochew style of steaming fish involve very little sauce, it fact, the soup base is of a very light flavor, with mushroom, carrot, tomatoes, ginger, spring onions, fresh chili to grace the fish as it is steamed at  medium heat for about 15  minutes to cook it thoroughly.
