Westlake at Block 4 Queen's Road (Part 1 )

I grew up in Block 3 Queen's Road often waking up to the aromas coming from the kitchen of Westlake, especially the smell of the signature dish at Westlake - Kong Ba Pao, prepared painstakingly by the Chefs at Westlake daily.

After I got married and moved to Simei, then to Sembawang, we hardly eat at Westlake anymore ! This year, Grouch Two suddenly suggested we go back to Queen's Road to dine at Westlake. So on Dad's chinese birthday we set off to Westlake in Bob's car.

Coming back to Westlake brings back so many childhood memories for me for this is my childhood where i grew up in and learnt how to cycle with m Primary School BFF Yoke Leng (Michelle) & Toh Mee (Sally).

Here's the dishes we ordered for dinner :

Kong Ba Pao

French Beans with Hae Bee (Dried Shrimp)

Stir fry Fish Slices with Onions & Ginger on hotplate
