Two beautiful, intelligent, capable sisters  with great passion for Ipoh Cuisine : Singaporean Cheryl Tioh ( age 33 years ) and PR Elaine Tioh (age 34 years) both hail from Ipoh.

Having lived and worked in Singapore for several years, both missed their hometown Ipoh's food so much they wish they could find it here in Singapore.  It is this nostalgic love for Ipoh Cuisine and the desire to share authentic Ipoh Cuisine that prompted them to start Hillcity in 2011 opening with first cafe selling Ipoh Cuisine, which further expand to total current three outlets.

Both sisters decide to expand their business to develop a second new brand <<Secret Garden>>.

To cater to market demand for a casual dining experience targeting at families, friends, PMEBs in a relaxed ambience European style deco, Secret Garden was thus born. Note that Secret Garden is not in anyway affiliated to The Secret Garden Restaurant in Auckland nor Canada.
