The Beginnings of My Baking Cottage
Pastry Chef Charlynn Gwee is a young enterprising 25 year old undergraduate in Business Studies who decided to pursue her love & passion for baking & has started her own home based bakery My Baking Cottage.
She specialises in baking : tarts, strawberry shortcake, matcha tea, eclair, kueh lapis, macarons. Besides baking, Pastry Chef Charlynn's other passions are cooking & photography. She is a self taught Pastry Chef who loves to experiment with different ingredients & techniques & come up with her own recipes. She draws most of her inspiration from family recipes, reading cookbooks, watching YouTube Food channels & other food blogs. Her favorite instrument she cannot do without is her Kitchenaid Mixer where she churns out delicious breads, cakes, ice creams. Her most important equipment is her oven seen here below where she does her baking.
