Singapore’s only German microbrewery and restaurant, Paulaner Bräuhaus is located in a unique three-storey glass building at Millenia Walk. Customers can soak up the boisterous atmosphere at the bar and beer garden on the first level with live entertainment, while savoring authentic and freshly brewed-on-the-premise German beers by Paulaner Bräuhaus ' resident brew master.

The second level is the restaurant helmed by Executive German Chef Klaus Lukarsch who brings with him an extensive wealth of experience in Bavarian Cuisine, serving up delectable selections of traditional German fare that can be wonderfully paired with Paulaner Bräuhaus' freshly brewed beers. Executive Chef Klaus Lukarsch, Chef de Cuisine is a Certified Master Butcher - he has honed his craft and has become a specialist in preparing German ham, cold cuts & salami. Chef Klaus Lukarsch is the man behind the Paulaner Bräuhaus’ Schweinshaxe - grilled-to-perfection crispy pork knuckle and sausage made from old homemade recipes. Chef Klaus Lukarsch's professional career as a chef began in Beijing in Kempinski Hotel at the Lufthansa Center. 

Since young Chef Klaus Lukarsch helps out in the family business doing food preparations, party services and small goods manufacturing. Soon he became a Butcher, then a Master Butcher.  After 11 years as the Head Chef of Paulaner Bräuhaus Beijing and stints in Australia and  Turkey, he joined Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore in February 2009. 

The Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore restaurant at Level Two, has an extensive Menu boasting Munich specialties (Paulaner Classics) as well as popular international dishes and food trends. Diners are assured that identical recipes are used in all brew houses worldwide & applied according to Bavarian standards. Bavarian traditions & tastes are imported directly in unadulterated form.
The Signature dishes include : 
  • Paulaner Brew House special platter - Kassler, Nürnberger, cheese Krainer and grilled pork sausages, grilled and boiled knuckle, meatloaf, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes
  • Nürnberger grilled sausages with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut
  • Crispy Pork Knuckle with Sauerkraut & Bread dumpling, 
  • Paulaner Sausage Pan with 5 different sausages on Sauerkraut - Nürnberger, cheese sausage, debreziner, pork sausage and spicy Kolbaz sausage
  • Half grilled chicken with French Fries
  • Breaded veal escalope “Vienna style” with sautéed potatoes and cranberry sauce
  • Beef Goulash, 
  • Lamp Chops, 
  • Caramelised Bavarian Emperor's pancake with apple plum compote
  • Homemade apple strudel with vanilla ice cream

Beer Specialities at Paulaner Bräuhaus
  • Beers available all year round: pale Lager, dark Lager
  • Seasonal brews: Salvator, Maibock, Oktoberfest Bier 
  • Past special brews: Rye/Roggen Bier, dark wheat beer, Christmas Bock

Be it Munich Lager or Munich Dark, beers are available all year round with seasonal brews during special festivals like Salvator, Maibock, and Oktoberfest. Due to the expert craftsmanship of Paulaner Bräuhaus' brew master drinkers can be sure the beers are always fresh from the tap.




Alex Buchner - General Manager & Resident Brewmaster Paulaner Bräuhaus 






Alex Buchner oversees the Paulaner Bräuhaus where he has been working at for more than 10 years. If not in the office organizing your next 'annual Maifest' you'll find him by the bar sampling some product to make sure it's in accordance to Munich's finest art of brewing since 1634. 

As General Manager, Alex Buchner runs the daily business operations and serves as the Resident Brew Master of Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore. He oversees together with Assistant Brewers Jerry and Max, the entire brewing process of the establishment’s three Signature Beers which are available throughout the year 
  • Munich Lager, 
  • Munich Dark and 
  • Hefe Weissbier

Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore produces seasonal specialties such as strong beer Salvator, Maibock, Oktoberfest and Christmas beers are created as well as exclusive brews for past World Gourmet Summits in 2007 and 2008.

The Ambience 
Level One alfresco dining area has seating capacity of about 150 pax.  


The indoor air-con Bar at Level One (100 pax) has a brewery built in sited in the centre of the flanked by the arc bar counter where the mixologist & bartender concocts the brew of the day. Interspersed between the brewery cylinders are standing microphones where the in house performers croon & belt out songs for the evening to entertain the drinking patrons. 

Built-in LED lights on the ceiling illuminate the bar below, creating a slightly different mood each time the colour of the lights subtly change. Intricate handcrafted iron-railing detailings surround the bar, finished off with brass antique. The Bar at Level One has Seating Capacity of 250 pax total, with 100 pax indoors & 150 pax outdoors. 






Intimate booth seats flank one side of the bar, with brand new maplewood tabletops completing the inviting and relaxed atmosphere.


Level Two houses the restaurant with a central magnificent Maibaum (Maypole) - a 16th century Bavarian architectural feature, surrounded by an octogonal elevated section with 3 dining tables. The restaurant at Level Two has Seating Capacity of 180 pax (indoor), 30 pax (outdoor). 












Paulaner Bräuhaus Singapore boasts of typical German interior décor combined with an authentic Bavarian menu. The restaurant offers authentic drinking and dining experience in a cosy and rustic setting reminiscent of microbreweries in Germany. The staff here provides casual but charming service & an unforgettable experience for the young and old. The kitchen offers a wide range of original Bavarian dishes whilst the brewery offers favourite Paulaner beer. Till today, Paulaner Bräuhaus’ master brewer brews the beers just as they have always been brewed, according to the purity law of 1516.








Handcrafted decorative iron frames and individual hanging pendant lamps enhance the cosiness of this spacious interior. Adorned with etchings of traditional Bavarian costumes and dotted with numerous pictures of scenes in Germany, customers will feel immersed in a truly convivial and cosy setting. There is space for 180 on this floor.












Level Three Gallery comes in handy when the Level Two dining area is fully occupied, with a seating capacity of 60 pax, is reserved for special occasions & functions. 




Lunch crowd typically sees Executives from nearby offices coming for a quick bite.

Evening Dinner crowds are more relaxed as they enjoy their food over a nice jug of the house brew beer.
