Fresh Garden at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital #01-18 S(329563) - The Founders Part I

Introduction

Fresh Garden located at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital #01-18 is a cafe that serves up pretty decent healthy Gourmet style Salad, Soup, Sandwich. Both husband & wife team of Henry Kiong, 36, & Filisa Ngoh, 34, come from Financial Banking Industry for more than 10 years.

Henry Kiong & Filisa Ngoh are self-professed health nuts & they practically love a fresh food cleanfit diet. The concept of Fresh Garden came about because they were both looking for a decent place where they can indulge in real & whole foods, but could hardly find any respectable place selling real whole food. So they started scouting for a good location & eventually set up Fresh Garden at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital #01-18.

Fresh Garden was officially launch on the 10 September 2014.

The Beginnings

Husband & wife team Co-Founders Henry Kiong, 36, & Filisa Ngoh, 34, both love to eat, & the couple loves to visit various F&B establishments to explore various cuisine in Singapore.

On her own, Filisa Ngoh loves to experiment with new recipes & cooks often at home with her self taught personally developed recipes which turn out to be absolutely heavenly.

Henry Kiong confesses to being a rather picky eater himself & often gives his two cents worth of his tasting notes to wife Filisa Ngoh.

Throwback to a year ago, Henry Kiong & Filisa Ngoh, being foodies themselves, enjoying visiting new places around Singapore to discover great food at new places to savour. They were looking for a good salad place to satisfy their palates but was disappointed to find a lot of the salad joints had few options when it comes to proteins in salads.

The duo wanted to bring about a revolutionary change in concept with respect to salad recipes to ordinary folks by coming up with fresh homemade dressing (not commercially made dressing) that are more flavorful, more tasty, more appetising, more rustic, more healthy, as well as a good selection of protein, nuts, raw fresh fruits & dried fruits to go with the greens.
