The Chinese Lunar New Year of The Snake

Singapore, December 2012 – Celebrate the splendid Lunar New Year of the Snake at Paradise Group of Chinese restaurants from 28 January to 24 February 2013. Indulge in a wide selection of traditional Yusheng, lavish Fortune Pot, festive specialties and reunion set menus at its restaurants such as Taste Paradise, Paradise Pavilion, Seafood Paradise, Paradise Dynasty, Paradise Inn, and Canton Paradise. Its catering arm, One Paradise, also offers three festive catering packages so that guests can stage a decadent feast at home or in the office.

Festive Dishes For Takeaway

Customers can order a range of Chinese New Year festive dishes from the e-store at Paradise Group’s website www.paradisegroup.com.sg. Online orders start on 1 January to 23 February 2013. ANZ, OCBC and Paradise Group Cardmembers enjoy 12% discount for online orders from 1 January to 23 February 2013. The last day of collection is 24 February 2013. Self collection is at selected venues.

Customers can also call the Paradise Group’s Chinese New Year hotline tel 6280 1588 and order a selection of sumptuous dishes for takeaway at any Paradise Group restaurant. The hotline is open from 31 January to 15 February 2013 (last collection date is 24 February 2013), from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. ANZ, OCBC and Paradise Group Cardmembers enjoy 10% discount off all festive goodies when they order via the hotline.

A highlight is the Fortune Pot樂天聚宝盆菜 ($198 for Regular / up to 5 pax and $388 for Large / up to 10 pax) which is created by award-winning Group Executive Chef Fung Chi Keung. The fortune pot is layered and filled with 16 delightful ingredients such as superior whole abalones, Japanese sea cucumber, Japanese dried scallops, dried oysters, premium fish maw and dried mushrooms that will impress the most discerning diner.

The Paradise’s Prosperity “Lo Hei” Salmon Yu Sheng Platter 招财鲑鱼捞生 ($38.80 for Regular and $58.80 for Large) is a colourful must-have dish at the reunion meal and comes with fresh sashimi salmon.  

A new creation is the Golden Roast Chicken 金玉烤鸡 ($23.80) – a definite crowd pleaser for the whole family to enjoy. Last but not least, the Glutinous Rice with Waxed Meat Wrapped In Lotus Leaf 荷叶糯米腊味饭 ($18) is a comforting combination of wok-fried short grain rice cooked with chicken, Chinese sausage, mushrooms, and dried shrimps. This delicious bundle is wrapped in fragrant lotus leaf and then steamed till cooked.

Customers can enjoy these four festive dishes when they purchase the Abundance Package 丰盛外卖套餐 ($268 for Regular set / up to 5pax and $480 for Large / up to 10 pax). It consists of the Fortune Pot, Prosperity Salmon Yusheng, Golden Roast Chicken, and Glutinous Rice with Waxed Meat Wrapped In Lotus Leaf.
