My third dish at Chicken Hot Pot at NEX served was the Beef Behemoth (Beef Hot Pot), which ranks number three of my choice of favorites at Chicken Hot Pot restaurant.
The fresh beef meat are cut to cube sizes about 3 cm by 3 cm which makes it easier for the meat to cook thoroughly. The beef is marinate with the special prioprietory recipe, and stewed for hours till tender at the kitchen, then served in the Hot Pot upon order, as beef takes a longer time to cook.
Not surprisingly, the beef is soft and tender, the gravy infuses through the meat, lending a savoury taste. The addition of green capsicum, onions, celery give the gravy a sweet tinge.
