The Signature Home Made Beef Burger at S$13.90 is available on the Lunch & Dinner Menu at Bottle Cap Cafe located at 511 Guillemard Road, #01-54, Grandlink Square. 
This burger is served with crispy sticky bacon, Cheddar cheese, homemade minced beef patty, lettuce, tomato, with smoky BBQ sauce & straight cut French fries.

How it is prepared - The beef patties at Bottle Cap Cafe are homemade from scratch. Chef Khaw uses minced beef from his suppliers, to it is added herbs & spices such as garlic, fresh diced onions, rosemary, oregano, salt & pepper, crushed black pepper, tomato sauce, Perkin's Worchester sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, & kneaded to form beef patty each weighing about 150gm. Chef Khaw makes the minced beef patty into 150 gm size daily & chill them in the chiller for use the next day. 

When the order is placed Chef Khaw simply pan sears the beef patty in the pan at medium high heat for about 3 minutes to seal in the flavor & juices, then oven roast the beef patty at 220 to 250 degrees for less than 3 minutes and it is good to serve. 
To the beef patty Chef Khaw adds some lettuce, tomato, chilli sauce, crispy fried sticky bacon, topped with Chef Khaw's homemade BBQ sauce.  
Chef Khaw makes his BBQ sauce from scratch using key ingredients: tomato, vinegar, cumin, honey mustard, corn flour, honey, paprika, chili powder, oregano, crushed black pepper, apple cider vinegar. Chef Khaw usually prepares the BBQ sauce from scratch with enough portion to last him for about 3-5 days about 500 ml per batch, so on average he makes the sauce twice a week.
The base of the bun is layered with mayonnaise to lend a creamy texture. Each beef patty weighs 150gm and is made fresh daily. The beef burger is served with straight cut French fries.
Tasting Notes - The homemade minced beef patty is moist, chewy, juicy & sweet. The onion, garlic & 12 herbs are kneaded well into the beef till is soft & springy. 

The homemade BBQ sauce taste sweet at first with honey tomato flavor, but comes with an after-taste of spiciness on your palate. 
He melts the Cheddar cheese lightly to give a cheesy flavor. He uses sticky bacon, fries them to give a smoky & savory flavor. The tomato gives tarty sourly flavor whilst the lettuce gives that crisp texture.
