Stellar at 1-Altitude at One Raffles Place, Level 62 - $100Gourmet Dinner by CitiGroup on Friday 22 May 2015 (Part IV)

The Occasion 
I had won the contest organised by $100Gourmet of CitiGroup on their Facebook in the month of May 2015. 
The Reward 
The prize reward is a pair of tickets to attend the $100Gourmet's 6 Course Dinner held at Stellar at 1-Altitude located at One Raffles Place, Level 62 on 22 May 2015, Friday.

The Fourth Dish 
We were soon served the King Prawn prepared by Chef Christopher Millar. 
Core Ingredients include - King Prawn, Asparagus, Tarama Cloud, Salmon Roe, Sage Flower.  
Tasting Notes - The King Prawn is deshelled, deveined, butterflied, then baked till cooked & served atop the Tamara Cloud, plated with the salmon roe & Asparagus on its side, garnished with Sage flower buds. The King Prawn is very fresh, succulent, sweet & juicy with a crunchy bite. 

The aromatic flavors of the Sage flowers complements well with the mildly savoury bursts of the Salmon roe & Tamara Cloud, the  sweetness of the King Prawn, & the roasted asparagus infused with the EVOO. 

Preparation of Fifth Course - The Beef Cheeks 
Here I manage to capture the moments of Chef Anthony Demetre & Chef Christopher Millar preparing the Beef Cheeks.

I took a moment off from the Open Kitchen to admire the Dining Area's ceiling light decor that has skirtings hanging down to create that tidal wave effect.

Check out the Bar Counter that has a comprehensive selection of premium wines Champagne, from several countries such as France, Italy, Spain, Australia, US.

The Dinner Crowd 
We are at the midst of between the Fourth Course & the Fifth Course & the dinner crowd at Stellar at 1-Altitude is still very vibrantly active.  

The Official Champagne 
The Official Champagne for the $100Gourmet for month of May 2015 is Champagne Taittinger Reims priced at S$100++ per bottle (Regular Price is S$180++)

The Accolades 
Prominently displayed at the entrance are the accolades & awards won by Stellar at 1-Altitude under the leadership of Group Executive Chef Christopher Millar.

Open Kitchen Concept
We happen to be sitting right in front of the Open Kitchen so we had a bird's eye view of the entire Kitchen Operations. Here we have Chef Anthony Demetre & Chef Christopher Millar doing the last finishing touches for the Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks.
