Thai Fish Cakes ( Tod Man Pla ทอดมันปลา)served at BaliThai is made from fresh ingredients, the fish paste was kneaded well to give the fish cake a nice springy bite.
The spices and herbs use gives a limely yet lightly spicy flavor. I could bite into bits of the long bean and lime leaf, and when I dipped it into the Thai Chili sauce and the Belachan Chili sauce gives a lip-smacking satisfaction and keeps me beaming throughout dinner.
