Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant at Valley Point - Sashimi Moriawase (7 Types Sashimi Platter for 6-8pax) S$45

This is Sashimi Moriawase (7 kinds of mixed Sashimi platter for 6-8 pax) at S$45 available in the SASHIMI Category found in the Ala Carte Menu of Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant at Valley Point.
The Chef uses 7 types of fresh cut seafood : 
  1. Stripjack, 
  2. Suzuki (Seabass ) from farm in Pasir Ris,  
  3. Sake (Salmon), 
  4. Maguro (Tuna), 
  5. Tako (Octopus), 
  6. Hamachi (Yellowtail), 
  7. Ebi (Shrimp) 

This platter is served, garnished with :
  1. pickled ginger, 
  2. wasabi (Japanese Horseradish), 
  3. shredded crunchy raw daikon (white radish), 
  4. shiso leaves (perilla - an herb with serrated leaves like large nettles) with a musty fragrance and taste and has a tinge of mint and cumin aroma in it.

Food Tasting Notes : The Sashimi Moriawase is very very fresh, sweet, the meat is firm yet tender to the bite, the color is clear and of a natural shade and tastes refreshing with the Japanese soya sauce, shredded radish and wasabe. The Octopus is chewy and sweet,  the Ebi tastes deliciously juicy, sweet, fresh with a melt in your mouth feel. 
Typically before I head off for a Sashimi meal, I usually will come prepared by downing a bowl of yogurt some hour before the Sashimi meal in case they are not too fresh.  But for Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant,  I am pretty glad the food here is served with much detail and allegiance to freshness and quality.  So for Sashimi lovers do come visit Kuru Kuru Japanese Restaurant at Valley Point and tuck into fresh Sashimi!
