The Signature Tau Kwa Salad
Tau Kwa Salad with Grilled Chicken Sausages at S$12.50 per serving.

Core Ingredients include - Mixed green salad with chicken sausage, Tau Kwa, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, Alfalfa sprouts, fresh cut onion rings.

How it is prepared - The Tau Kwa is sauteed with grilled sausage, onions, Olive Oil, Soya Sauce to get that fragrant flavor. The Tau Kwa soaks up the flavor of the onions, Olive Oil, Soya Sauce to give it that appertising flavor

Tasting Notes - The Tau Kwa is sliced in 3 by 1 by 0.5 inch slices, then deep fried till it is crispy outside & tender inside. When you eat the Tau Kwa on its own it is tender soft on the inside, very fragrant flavor on the outer skin as it is deep fried till it is light brown & crisp.
When you eat Tau Kwa with the chicken sausage the salty flavor of the chicken sausage balances the light tou fu flavor of the Tau Kwa. When you rolled the raw crisp Alfalfa sprouts with the Tau Kwa & chicken sausage, it gives you that added crunch & bite. The overall flavor is tender & smooth texture with fragrant flavor from Tau Kwa, salty savory flavor from chicken sausage that blends well with the tarty sweet cherry tomato & fresh raw crisp crunchiness from the raw Alfalfa sprouts. These 4 combination of fragrant sweet, savoury, salty, crunchy mix of flavors & texture, combined with the lightly bitterness of coral lettuce, balance by sweet crunchy raw ringed onions gives you an altogether appetising salad. The raw fresh onion oil gives you that slightly pungent rush to the nasal. The Tau Kwa give you that Oriental twist to the otherwise western salad.
