The Beginning
The Castel Cafe at Blk 555, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-1940 is founded by Francis Lee & his wife Mrs Lee in 2010.
The Castel Cafe used to be called "Sfigato Cafe" when it first operated from Beauty World Centre & 127 Bukit Merah Lane 1 & at its peak had total of 5 outlets in Singapore with its Chefs trained under the Italian Chef who used to be a minority shareholder of Sfigato Pizza (* now The Castel Cafe ) before his return to his hometown Italy.
Due to changes in the foreign labour policy in recent times & labour crunch, The Castel Cafe operations has been streamlined to one main outlet at 555 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10.
Trained under the original Italian Chef, nowadays Mrs Lee helmed the kitchen at The Castel Cafe, serving up delectable rustic home-style Italian Cuisine using traditional authentic Italian recipes passed down from generations ago which The Castel Cafe inherited from the original Italian Chef.
