Squid Ink Pasta at S$8.00 per 120 gm serving is available at The Castel Cafe menu, located at Blk 555, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, Unit #01-1940.
This pasta is made using Core Ingredients - Chef's Grade Pasta, Squid Ink, fresh squid rings, fresh garlic slices, fresh mushroom slices, long beans julienned, Pomodoro sauce, thinly sliced onions, coriander to garnish.
Tasting Notes - The spaghetti pasta is well done, the squid ink used is very creamy thick, has a savory lightly salty flavor. The pasta is fully infused with the squid ink.
The garlic & onion adds added level of sweet garlicky fragrant flavor to this pasta dish. The squid ring lends a seafood flavor to this dish. This is one of my must have dish whenever I lunch at The Castel Cafe. The portion is pretty daunting and can be shared by two smaller eaters.
