Peng Chai 盆菜 - which is a Chinese New Year dish made up of prawns, chicken, lor bah, sea cucumber, shiitake mushroom, abalone, fish maw, Chinese radish, bean curd skin, pig skin, squid, fishball, beef, pork, duck, dried mushroom, carrot, cabbage, Fatt Choy, dried shrimp, served in a big pot.

Peng Chai (also known as Poon Choi 盆菜) was said to have originated from Song Dynasty. The Song Emperor, in escaping from the invasion of hte Mongol troops, sought refuge in region around Guang Dong & Hong Kong, and were treated to a dish made of best ingredients pooled by the local villagers and presented in wooden washbasins.
